It been a crazy 2 weeks, fishing has been really good on Falcon. It looks like things are also getting better on Sugar. The squarebill bite is insane on Falcon and the #SPROUSA md50 and Spro Hunter 65 are the trick . I hate to say it but getting the big ones in the net has been tricky. What an enjoyable change of pace, today we fished Falcon and to be honest I loved not having to deal with gill nets. Tim and Heather came down for the day we put in around 8am and off by 2pm. As for the fishing it was better than expected. Nature is a funny thing. Some of us wait a lifetime for an opportunity at a deer like this, other pass on it just hoping for next year. We can never predict what mother nature gives us but we sit at the table and play the hand we are dealt. It's been 2 years now and still no site of this deer. I guess the harsh reality needs to sink in.

No way to explain the size difference of Texas deer and Mexican deer until you’ve seen them. First time I went down there it was like shoot it and they were like too small and 5 minutes later something bigger steps out and again too small ..lol
